In July 2009, representatives of Global BioTech traveled to Fuzhou China and met at the foreign affairs office of Fujian provincial people’s government, to discuss alliance with the local government of the city of Golfito in the southwest part of Costa Rica.
The objective was to open the door for the city of Golfito to have international relationship with China and attract investment and environmental friendly development.
This meeting made it possible for the Fujian government to sponsor a visit from the Golfito local government to the CIFIT investment trade fair in Xiamen China in September 2009.
FUZHOU
In September 2009, Global BioTech coordinated together with its partners in China a visit from the Municipality of Golfito, Costa Rica and its Mayor to travel to Xiamen China, and participate in the 13TH China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT).
The Purpose of the Visit was to expose the city of Golfito to China and to attract investment opportunities and development in the area of Golfito. We were very impressed by how well the city of Golfito was treated in China, and the hospitality that it was shown to them. The visit was a success and later in the year, we were able to bring a group of business people from China to Golfito.
XIAMEN
After working with Chinese partners, Global BioTech expanded.
In November 2011, his representative traveled to Korea, and formed an alliance with the Korean private company Gi Hong, to bring its environmental technology to Latin America.
PRIVATE SECTOR
In December 2011, Global BioTech brings delegation from Mexico City D.F Government representatives to Korea, in search of new technology to help solve Mexico ‘s Solid waste and water environmental problems.
